Dave and his wife Ange, and their family, have lived and worked in intentional communities with marginalised groups of people in Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal for over forty years. Dave is interested in intentional community and the dynamics of personal and social transformation. He is author of many books, including 'Not Religion, But Love', 'Building A Better World' and Living Community'. Dave is an educator for TEAR Australia, an international aid agency; a lecturer at the University of Queensland; a teacher for the Community Praxis Co-op; and an advisor for Servants to Asia's Urban Poor.
