JANE WERNER WATSON (1915 2004) was the original editor of Little Golden Books, and a prolific author of Golden Book titles, from Disney titles to nonfiction. Some of her bestselling Little Golden Books include My Little Golden Book About God, Wonders of Nature, and The Christmas Story. AURELIUS BATTAGLIA (1910 1984) was an animator who worked for Walt Disney Studios from 1937 to 1941, and contributed most notably to Dumbo, Fantasia, and Pinocchio."
