The Tale of Kaz Kangaroo

Author(s): Susan Hall

No Category

This book tells the story of Kaz Kangaroo, who is grazing with her Ma and the rest of the mob when she spots something far out to sea. Is it a whale? Kaz bounds down to the beach to see what it is and finds, to her surprise, that the 'whale' is carrying 'Uprights', or men. The men come ashore and set up camp, but then they spot Kaz. They have never seen a kangaroo before - never seen an animal moving this way, or an animal with a pouch! They decide to get nearer to investigate. Kaz is in danger but then the Upright in charge, wearing a blue uniform and big black hat, comes to her rescue.
