Shipwrecks and other maritime incidents on King Island in western Bass Strait, between the Australian states of Victoria and Tasmania, from 1802 until the early 2000s. They include some of Australia's worst shipping disasters, including those of the emigrant ship CATARAQUI in 1845 with the loss of 400 lives, and the female convict ship NEVA in 1835 with 225 lives lost.
